Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate and timely medication therapy to patients in emergency medicine and critical care settings
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to identify and resolve medication-related issues
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and interns to ensure accurate and efficient medication preparation and dispensing
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve medication-related processes and patient care programs
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medication safety guidelines and best practices
Requirements
  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent
  • Current state pharmacy license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
  • 1-2 years of experience in emergency medicine or critical care pharmacy
