Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Closing / Title Attorney to join our Law Firm team. As a key member of our real estate practice group, you will advise clients on various real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, refinances, and HELOCs of residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough title searches and prepare title certifications, title opinions, and deeds.
  • Review and draft various real estate documents, including trust instruments, corporate resolutions, promissory notes, mortgages, and easements.
  • Review real estate contracts and conduct closings for all transaction types.
  • Ensure accurate disbursement and recording of post-closing documents.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited Law School.
  • West Virginia Bar License in good standing.
  • Notary Public.
  • Preferred experience in reviewing title, drafting real estate documents, and conducting closings.
