Network Security Analyst II

The **Network Security Analyst** role encompasses the following responsibilities:
- Serving as a primary authority for the client's sophisticated firewall infrastructure.
- Overseeing firewall operations and maintaining comprehensive documentation of the existing configuration.
- Executing change management across all operational processes.
- Producing in-depth reports on firewall block lists, device health, updates, and additional metrics.
- Evaluating and resolving atypical network and system activities.
- Supporting the resolution of various client-related challenges.
- Familiarizing oneself with DOD information assurance regulations.
- Assessing network security requirements and aiding in the deployment of hardware and software solutions.
- Diagnosing network problems both remotely and on-site.
- Managing perimeter security mechanisms such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Security+ CE certification or an equivalent DOD 8570 baseline certification
  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience in managing enterprise firewall and VPN technologies.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
  • Mandatory experience with Force Point, Palo Alto, and Cisco ASA firewalls.
  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification
  • Knowledge of Cisco Dynamic VPN (DMVPN) technology
