Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative and clinical support to healthcare providers, including preparing patients for exams and procedures, taking vital signs, and documenting patient information.
- Assist with patient care tasks, such as drawing blood samples, preparing specimens for laboratory analysis, and performing routine tests.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, medications, and test results.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certification or training preferred.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in radiation oncology or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
