Job Summary

Sterling Labs is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for conducting routine preparation, digestion, and sample analysis following official methods and laboratory Standard Operation Procedures (SOP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine preparation, digestion, and sample analysis following official methods and laboratory SOP
  • Maintain daily workflow, perform tests according to appropriate quality parameters with proper technique, and communicate issues and needs to the department manager
  • Perform specific duties assigned by the department manager to ensure that client service requests are met
  • Display motivation to see projects through to completion to meet client expectations

Secondary Tasks:

  • Sample disposal
  • Sample neutralization

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel
  • Working knowledge of Element TM LIMS or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Self-directed; goal and outcome driven
