Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our Behavioral Health team at LDS Hospital. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide leadership and clinical expertise to ensure the highest quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Provide clinical support and guidance to staff members, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
  • Coordinate unit resources to ensure optimal staffing and patient care, balancing clinical and financial considerations.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of unit policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Nurse Manager to mentor and evaluate staff, promoting professional growth and development.
Requirements
  • Current RN license in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
  • Unit-specific certification as required (e.g., ACLS, PALS).
  • Experience in assigned clinical area, with a focus on behavioral health.
  • Mentoring experience and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
  • One year of clinical nursing experience, with a focus on behavioral health.
  • Leadership experience and a track record of success in improving patient outcomes.
Work Environment

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities. You will be expected to lift and move patients, as well as navigate crowded and busy rooms. A safe and healthy work environment is essential for this role.
