As a Fire Captain Correction Institution, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of the Central California Women's Facility. This position requires a unique blend of firefighting skills, correctional knowledge, and leadership abilities.
Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate firefighting efforts within the facility
- Develop and implement fire safety protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with correctional staff to ensure a safe and secure environment
- Conduct regular fire drills and training exercises
- Investigate and report on fires and other incidents
- Minimum Qualifications: Possession of a valid Firefighter I and II certification, as well as a correctional officer certification
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals
