The Laurels of Dekalb is seeking a skilled Activities Assistant to coordinate and deliver enrichment programs for our facility guests. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Director of Activities to implement engaging activities that meet the functional levels, needs, and interests of each guest. Your responsibilities will include planning field trips, games, crafts, and holiday celebrations, as well as assisting guests to and from activity programs and on outings as scheduled. You will also maintain good rapport with family members of guests and encourage family support in programs. Additionally, you will complete records indicating guest attendance and participation in individual and group activities in a timely manner.
