Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team at our Yankton, SD facility. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating complex machinery, ensuring high-quality output, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position with an estimated salary range of $45,000-$60,000 per year, depending on experience. The Evening Shift differential adds an additional $2.00 per hour, resulting in an overall compensation package that recognizes your skills and dedication.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC lathes and/or mills, ensuring accurate and precise machining results
  • Read and interpret blueprints, bills of material, and other technical documentation
  • Calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, depth, and angle of cut
  • Inspect finished workpieces to verify accuracy and quality standards
  • Collaborate with engineers, production management, and programmers to resolve machining or programming problems
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and established procedures

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum two years' experience operating CNC machinery or machinist technical certification through an accredited college
  • Ability to use overhead cranes and forklifts to move and roll over large heavy parts
  • Basic math skills, including fractions, micrometers, percentages, ratios, and proportions
  • Able to read and interpret tape measures, blueprints, and bills of material
