The Clinical Manager RN will oversee the implementation, delivery, and coordination of home health services. This role requires strong clinical and managerial skills to ensure quality patient care and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise clinical and patient care coordinators, RNs, LPNs, therapists, social workers, and CNAs.
- Monitor and manage quality assurance data and performance improvement activities.
- Select, orient, and assign work for direct reports.
- Act as a clinical resource for clinicians and a liaison between departments.
- Screen admissions, recertifications, and reassessments for appropriate plan of care.
- Monitor staff availability and ensure adequate coverage for patient assignments.
- Oversee the assessment, implementation, and delivery of clinical treatments and procedures in a home environment.
- Assist with the interview and onboarding process for new team members.
- Review and approve physician orders and patient plan of care for clinical team members.
- Monitor and evaluate the delivery of quality patient care.
- Validate clinical documentation and visit notes.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in all State and CHAP surveys for accreditation and/or recertification.
- Perform on-site/field visits for staff education and supervision.
- Coordinate quality improvement activities and staff education.
- Participate in clinical administrative on-call rotation.
- Knowledgeable of all policy, procedures, and reimbursement guidelines.
- Graduation from an accredited RN program. BSN preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years RN experience in a Supervisory role.
- At least two years Home Health Experience.
Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations
- Current RN State of Florida licensure.
- Current driver's license and valid auto insurance.
- Current CPR certification.
Working Conditions
Office/Home Environment. May be exposed to biological hazards.
