Position: R&D Molecular Scientist
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Onsite
Compensation: $70,000 - $100,000
Key Responsibilities:- Conducts advanced and technically demanding experiments with efficiency and independence.
- Formulates impactful hypotheses to guide project objectives and establish new experimental pathways.
- Contributes significantly to project initiatives and scientific strategies.
- Creates innovative solutions to navigate obstacles in achieving project goals.
- Recognizes broader implications of findings that extend beyond immediate experiments.
- Seizes the opportunity to take on a leadership role in shaping the company’s product roadmap in molecular technical expertise.
- Demonstrates a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product marketing within the IVD sector.
- Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline; PhD preferred.
- 5-7 years of practical experience in molecular biology techniques, particularly in assay development within the IVD field.
- Expertise in molecular diagnostic assay design, optimization, and validation, including proficiency in nucleic acid extraction, PCR/qPCR, sequencing, and other molecular methodologies.
- Experience in a regulated environment (e.g., FDA, ISO) with knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and quality standards for IVD products.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities, capable of designing and executing complex experiments, analyzing data, and deriving meaningful insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and convey technical concepts clearly.
- Proven success in leading projects, delivering results on schedule and within budget, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
