Key Responsibilities- Triage and Communication: Respond to incoming telephone calls, address patient inquiries, and coordinate medication refills as directed by physicians.
- Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with clinical nursing standards, monitoring patients' conditions and reporting any adverse reactions to physicians.
- Patient Education: Provide education and teaching to patients under the direction of physicians, addressing questions regarding diagnostic testing and treatment.
- Wound Care: Dress wounds according to standard clinical procedures.
- IV Administration: Administer and monitor IV fluids and medications as necessary.
- Medical Assistant Duties: Perform MA duties as indicated, in accordance with established protocols.
- Education: Successful completion of an accredited registered nurse program or a bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Experience: None required.
- Licensure/Certification: State of Georgia licensure as a registered nurse and BLS CPR certification are mandatory.
