Job Title: Care Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Independence Assistance. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in their homes to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Job Purpose:

The primary goal of this position is to provide personalized care and support to our clients, enabling them to live safely and comfortably in their own homes. This includes assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as providing companionship and emotional support.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Transport clients to and from appointments
  • Assist with light housekeeping, including meal preparation and laundry
  • Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to all confidentiality policies
  • Complete mandatory training and adhere to all company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in care giving or a related field preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to all confidentiality policies
