Urology Technician

UCHealth is seeking a highly skilled Urology Technician to join our team. As a Urology Technician, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our urology department. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

• Obtain patient history and vital signs, and explain procedures to patients
• Assist with urologic radiographic and ultrasound examinations, cystoscopies, and UDS studies
• Perform urinary catheter insertions and removals, laboratory duties, and simple dressing changes
• Communicate prescription refill requests to physicians and administer medications and injections per practice-specific guidelines
• Clean and restock rooms, supplies, and equipment, and transport patients

• Basic Life Support certification
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program through an accredited school or documentation of a medical program that meets the criteria of a medical assistant program
• Trained in urological procedures through vocational or post-hire on-the-job physician training
• Minimum 1 year of healthcare-related experience
