Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Dual Modality Technologist to join our team for a 13-week contract position. As a Dual Modality Technologist, you will be responsible for performing CT and X-ray procedures with proficiency. You will conduct common CT studies, including heads, abdomen, pelvic, angiography, and extremities, as well as execute X-ray studies such as chest (portable) and routine exams.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT and X-ray procedures with proficiency.
  • Conduct common CT studies, including but not limited to Heads, Abdomen, Pelvic, Angiography, and extremities.
  • Execute X-ray studies such as chest (portable), and routine exams.
  • Demonstrated skills in handling 015 studies per day, with a possibility of up to 22 exams.
  • Utilize EPIC EMR and Fuji PACs for documentation and recordkeeping.
  • Availability for backup on-call duties one weekend per month.
  • Participate in holiday rotations, covering one major and one minor holiday.
  • Be prepared to respond to on-call needs within a 45-minute timeframe.
  • No floating responsibilities required.
  • Comply with safety and infection control policies and procedures.
  • Participate in floor-specific orientation to ensure preparedness.
  • Utilize GE CT unit and Philips X-ray units during shifts.
  • Wear black scrubs during working hours.

Requirements:

Active VA State License required. AHA BLS, ARRT-CT, ARRT-R certifications. Minimum 2 years of experience preferred. Strong IV skills required.
