Key ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will be a reliable professional with extensive knowledge in various aspects of property maintenance, including:
- Performing daily repair and maintenance tasks as assigned
- Addressing and fulfilling residential maintenance requests
- Preparing vacant units through necessary repairs and enhancements
- Conducting preventive maintenance in all designated units on a biannual basis
- Maintaining cleanliness and order in common areas and grounds
- Clearing snow from entrances, walkways, and parking lots
- Managing maintenance supplies and equipment inventory
- Communicating with management regarding material needs
- Exhibiting a professional demeanor and providing excellent customer service
- Being available for on-call duties, including weekends and holidays
- Executing additional tasks as required
- Possession of a valid driver's license
- Reliable personal transportation for responding to on-call situations
- A high school diploma or GED is mandatory; trade or technical education is preferred
- Minimum of two years of general experience in building maintenance or relevant education
- Experience in community renovation projects is highly desirable
- Proficiency in plumbing, electrical work, painting, drywall, and appliance repair
- Ability to stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and lift up to 75 pounds independently
- Successful candidates will undergo a background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel is required
- Experience with Yardi Voyager is a plus
- Universal CFC Type 1 license may be required based on location
