Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be a reliable professional with extensive knowledge in various aspects of property maintenance, including:

  • Performing daily repair and maintenance tasks as assigned
  • Addressing and fulfilling residential maintenance requests
  • Preparing vacant units through necessary repairs and enhancements
  • Conducting preventive maintenance in all designated units on a biannual basis
  • Maintaining cleanliness and order in common areas and grounds
  • Clearing snow from entrances, walkways, and parking lots
  • Managing maintenance supplies and equipment inventory
  • Communicating with management regarding material needs
  • Exhibiting a professional demeanor and providing excellent customer service
  • Being available for on-call duties, including weekends and holidays
  • Executing additional tasks as required
Qualifications
  • Possession of a valid driver's license
  • Reliable personal transportation for responding to on-call situations
  • A high school diploma or GED is mandatory; trade or technical education is preferred
  • Minimum of two years of general experience in building maintenance or relevant education
  • Experience in community renovation projects is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in plumbing, electrical work, painting, drywall, and appliance repair
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and lift up to 75 pounds independently
  • Successful candidates will undergo a background check and pre-employment drug screening
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel is required
  • Experience with Yardi Voyager is a plus
  • Universal CFC Type 1 license may be required based on location
