The Housing Liaison plays a crucial role in connecting individuals experiencing housing instability with essential resources. This position focuses on building a robust network of community partners to address housing-related challenges effectively. The Housing Liaison will also support clients in navigating the case management process to achieve housing stability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with individuals who are not currently receiving services and are facing housing crises or homelessness.
  • Facilitate referrals and provide transportation to initial appointments for employment, behavioral health, substance use, physical health, or other necessary benefits.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with potential landlords to facilitate housing opportunities.
  • Assist in resolving tenant-related issues through effective problem-solving.
  • Collaborate with Continuum of Care programs to support individuals in achieving housing stability.
  • Guide tenants through the transition process to ensure readiness for permanent housing solutions.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling, along with a minimum of three years of relevant experience in housing case management. Experience in mental and behavioral health is preferred.

Required Certification:

SSI/SSDI Outreach, Access, and Recovery (SOAR) certification is required or must be obtained.
