Position Summary
As the Lead HVAC Installer, you will take charge of your installation team. After receiving guidance from the Install Manager, you will direct your team members and ensure the execution of high-quality installation work. Your role involves hands-on participation in the installation of diverse HVAC systems while upholding the exceptional service standards of Schagrin Home Comfort Products.


Key Responsibilities

  • Install heating, cooling, and ventilation systems in accordance with company protocols and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Operate with minimal supervision to complete HVAC installations at customer locations.
  • Design, fabricate, and install ductwork and fittings as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation throughout the installation process.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Adhere to established procedures to keep project timelines on track.
  • Provide guidance and training to laborers and helpers on-site.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
  • Represent Schagrin Home Comfort Products with professionalism and courtesy at all times.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on HVAC installation experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety practices.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC components and their functions.
  • Possession of basic hand tools required for the job.
  • Capability to work in various environments, including confined spaces and outdoor settings.
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, and climb ladders for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Universal EPA refrigerant certification is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical schematics.
  • Basic math skills and ability to measure accurately.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Compliance with the company's drug testing policy.
  • Willingness to arrive punctually and demonstrate motivation in daily tasks.

Work Schedule

  • Availability to work Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
  • Flexibility to meet tight deadlines and work variable hours as needed.
  • Potential on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis after training, with availability via phone or text during off-hours.
