Job Summary

ProMedica is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a staff position. As an LPN, you will be responsible for providing direct care to residents and supervising nursing personnel to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise nursing personnel to deliver nursing care and coordinate care delivery to ensure resident needs are met.
  • Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications, performing treatments, and providing wound care.
  • Conduct regular assessments of residents' physical and emotional needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordinate services.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care and treatment.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of clinical experience as an LPN/LVN.
  • Gerontological nursing experience, including experience with dementia populations, is preferred.
  • Valid and current LPN/LVN state license.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to push and pull objects and lift and carry up to 20 pounds, unassisted, on a frequent basis.
