We are seeking a skilled Medical Specimen Collector Specialist to join our team at LabCorp. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for collecting and processing medical specimens for testing and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect blood and other medical specimens from patients using venipuncture and capillary techniques
  • Process and prepare specimens for testing and analysis
  • Enter patient information and specimen data into our laboratory information system
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
  • Work collaboratively with laboratory staff to ensure accurate and timely test results
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of specimen collection and processing
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency preferred
  • Previous experience as a phlebotomist or medical laboratory technician
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
