Position Overview:

Constellation Technologies, Inc. is in search of a seasoned Systems Integration Engineer (SIE) with a TS/SCI polygraph clearance to provide essential support to our Intelligence Community clientele.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer expert guidance and assistance in the engineering of extensive systems, significant system components, and interconnected systems within a vast and intricate network framework featuring geographically dispersed elements.
  • Deliver technical advice and support for prospective system upgrades and architectural designs.
  • Revise and maintain System Engineering Documentation.
  • Conduct Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) or similar evaluative methodologies.
  • Collaborate with Program Management, System and Software Integration Engineers, Test Engineers, Information Assurance Engineers, and other project team members in an Agile framework.
  • Establish and apply system engineering methodologies ensuring the appropriate level of engineering rigor is maintained across all assigned tasks.
  • Engage in effective communication and collaboration with internal technical experts daily, and with representatives from client organizations as needed.
  • Actively contribute to program increment planning and associated Agile team activities.
Required Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
  • Possession of TS/SCI clearance with an active polygraph is essential.
  • Extensive experience in system integration is required.
  • In-depth knowledge in several areas including system architecture, design and development, requirements analysis, data flow design/analysis, network design/implementation, testing, and technical system documentation is necessary.
  • A minimum of seven (07) years of experience in network design or foundational networking is required.
  • At least seven (07) years of experience in system architecture design, construction, and integration is necessary.
  • Experience with infrastructure components such as Servers, Switches, Firewalls, and other Enterprise Infrastructure hardware for at least seven (07) years is required.
  • Five (05) years of experience as a Senior Architect working on large complex system architectures is preferred.
  • Five (05) years of hands-on experience in building and maintaining Windows and Linux systems is required.
  • Experience in requirements verification traceability is necessary.
  • Proficiency in analyzing user requirements, system architecture, and/or system requirements specifications is essential.
  • Experience in discovery, research, and analysis for hardware and software transitions is preferred.
  • Knowledge in gathering information related to the lifecycle of equipment and software is required.
  • A solid understanding of secure systems engineering and development is essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple systems and components simultaneously in various configurations is necessary.
  • Strong planning and prioritization skills with clear communication regarding technical options and trade-offs are required.
  • Capability to perform systems engineering activities in support of Agile teams on a large program is essential.
  • Commitment to adopting, adhering to, and promoting best practices is necessary.
Desired Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's/Master's Degree in System Engineering, Engineering Science, Computer Science, or a related field with at least 12 years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware and software maintenance is a plus.
  • Experience in transitioning legacy systems into new architectures is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with model-based systems engineering is a plus.
  • Experience with risk management/risk register is desirable.
  • Experience in tracking hardware assets and/or software licenses is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology or experience as a member of an Agile team is preferred.
