Job Summary

STV Incorporated is seeking a highly skilled Roadway Civil Design Engineer to join our team in our Transportation division. As a key member of our interdisciplinary projects, you will be responsible for producing construction documents, plans, specifications, estimates, and various studies and reports for road/highway projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the production of construction documents, plans, specifications, estimates, and various studies and reports for road/highway projects.
  • Assist with the design of roadway alignments and details, grading, drainage, traffic, and other highway infrastructure and site work.
  • Interact with client management teams, engineers, and marketing teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Design using MicroStation and other relevant software.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 8 or more years of experience in transportation, highway, and roadway design or a closely related engineering field.
  • Proficient in Bentley MicroStation and Bentley Open Roads Designer.
  • Familiarity with FDOT Roadway Standards, Criteria, and Specifications.
  • Ability to support management and provide technical expertise in the following areas:
    • Roadway/highway design.
    • Vertical and horizontal alignments.
    • Pavement section design.
    • Drainage system design.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills.
