Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at Community Health Programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients, including triage, patient education, and coordination of care. The RN will work closely with our physicians and clinical support staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate comprehensive care for all patients, including triage and patient education.
  • Make patient appointments and coordinate timely scheduling of appointments for ancillary services and specialty referrals.
  • Respond to patient emergencies within the scope of RN license.
  • Screen, triage, and respond to patients' inquiries via telephone, EMR messages, or walk-in.
  • Assist physicians in all procedures requiring nursing level support.
  • Administer immunizations and allergy shots, manage requests for prescription medication, and process laboratory results.
  • Assist with running daily controls on equipment and ensure that billing codes are correct.
  • Provide staff training as assigned by the Practice Manager.
Requirements
  • An RN/BSN from an accredited school of nursing is required.
  • Current BLS certification is required.
  • A minimum of three years' experience in an ambulatory setting is preferred.
  • Electronic medical records experience is required.
  • Licensed as a RN by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
