Job Summary

This is an Operations position responsible for supervising and directing the activities associated with delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the daily work and safety of delivery associates, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures and planned routes.
  • Analyze live and historical data to optimize delivery plans and ensure on-time customer service.
  • Direct labor activities to stay within budget and recommend work schedules to ensure efficient operations.
  • Coordinate the proper selection and utilization of company assets to support delivery operations.
  • Communicate with Sales Management and Marketing Associates to resolve customer or delivery opportunities or issues.
  • Proactively direct activities to ensure successful adherence to daily delivery schedules and departmental performance goals.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; two or four-year college degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or similar major preferred.
  • One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • Ability to successfully engage and lead individual and team discussions and meetings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • HazMat certification preferred.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, write, and speak English.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure.
