Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Production Assembler to join our team at Nesco Resource. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling high-quality products and ensuring that they meet customer specifications and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

* Set up and operate assembly equipment to produce high-quality products
* Monitor production output and ensure that products meet customer specifications and quality expectations
* Identify and utilize appropriate materials, plumb or pipe pneumatics and hydraulic lines
* Affix specified motors and gear boxes to drive components
* Test each assembly to ensure proper fit and function
* Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
* Accurately track and log assembly time sheets for each build
* Maintain work area for cleanliness
* Adhere to all safety standards and plant rules
* Transfer assembly to appropriate department for next step in production
* Utilize tape measures, calipers, squares, micrometers, and protractors
* General maintenance of tools and equipment
* Safe operation of the forklift, scissor lift and all other lift assist and tools

Requirements

* High School Diploma or GED equivalent
* Technical education is a plus
* Computer literacy
* Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 40 pounds
* 3 years of experience in industrial assembly (Class 1) or 1 year experience in industrial assembly (Class 2)
* Mechanical aptitude, mathematical and problem-solving ability
* An ability to troubleshoot and multi-task on projects
* Working knowledge and experience using hand tools
* Strong work ethic, analytical skills, and a keen attention to detail
* An ability to collaborate with others and work independently
* An ability to communicate information clearly and accurately report on assignments
