About the Role

Metromont Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Greenville, SC. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership in the design and development of precast concrete structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex engineering calculations and details for precast concrete products and connections
  • Lead project teams and independently manage engineering design aspects of projects with minimal assistance
  • Review contract documents and attend project meetings to ensure project requirements are met
  • Write and review complex requests for information (RFI) and resolve design issues independently
  • Serve as a point of contact for Metromont engineers and subcontractors for technical questions and problems
  • Check engineering design calculations and details of others for accuracy and adherence to Metromont standards
Requirements
  • BS Civil Engineering degree with a structural emphasis
  • PE Certification required
  • 7+ years of relevant engineering experience, with previous precast concrete engineering design knowledge preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects, with excellent communication and leadership skills
