An exciting opportunity is available for an Advanced Oncology Telehealth Specialist to join the team at Ansible Government Solutions. This role will provide exceptional care and support to patients through telehealth services.
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Advanced Oncology Telehealth Specialist to join our team in Durham, NC. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality healthcare services to patients via telehealth modalities. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing patient-centered care through phone, Clinical Video Telehealth (CVT), or VA Video Connect (VVC)
- Managing acute and chronic health care problems
- Performing history and physical examinations
- Ordering appropriate testing and consults
- Prescribing medication and treatments
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid Board Certification by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
- Prior experience providing telehealth services
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
- Familiarity with medical terminology and hospital procedures
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position, working Monday-Friday, 8:00-4:30pm EST. You will be required to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift. A government-sponsored background investigation will also be required.
