Position Overview:
MSSI is in search of a skilled Radiology Specialist with a focus on Interventional procedures for a rewarding travel opportunity.

Work Schedule:
5x8 hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee Endovascular procedures in the operating room.
2. Conduct specialized and invasive radiology examinations on patients while adhering to all radiation safety protocols.
3. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, administering contrast agents when necessary, and positioning them appropriately for imaging.
4. Select suitable imaging techniques and ensure the technical quality of the resulting images.
5. Enter and monitor patient information accurately.
6. Perform quality assurance checks on radiology equipment.
7. Assist with the initial and renewal applications for ACR and other relevant accreditations.
8. Identify and report any incidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to management.
9. Participate in emergency call duties within the department.

Qualifications:
- Certification in Basic or Advanced Life Support is required.
- A current license or temporary license from the Texas Medical Board (MRT) is mandatory.
- Registration as a Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) is essential.
