Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role: As a Security Guard at the State of Wyoming, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting security checks of facility buildings and addressing any issues that may arise;
  • Responding to client and staff medical emergencies in a timely and professional manner;
  • Patrolling the campus by vehicle or on foot to maintain a visible presence;
  • Providing support to facility staff with difficult client behaviors;
  • Diffusing and mediating between employees and/or upset or agitated visitors in a calm and composed manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations;
  • Basic first aid and CPR skills;
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings and weekends.
