Shift Details:
Afternoon/2nd Shift: 3:20pm - 11:30pm, Monday to Friday (Saturdays may be required)
Compensation$16/hour + $0.50 shift premium
Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Production Operator, you will:
- Ensure a safe work environment while adhering to environmental and quality rules and policies (ISO14001, TS16949, MIOSHA)
- Wear proper PPE at all times
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Operate equipment safely and productively
- Understand and follow written, verbal, and visual process instructions
- Properly use gages to perform the process as instructed
- Proper part identification
- Complete manufacturing-related documentation, including production sheets and scrap reporting
- Support the corrective/preventive action process (safety, scrap reduction, etc.)
- Communicate with all levels of employees to resolve production problems and issues
- Perform other duties as assigned
To be a good fit for this role, you should:
- Have consistent employment history (preferably in the automotive industry or manufacturing plant/warehouse environment)
- Be able to push/pull up to 40 pounds
- Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Pass a Basic Industrial Skills Assessment
- Be willing to undergo and successfully pass a background check and urine drug test (THC is not on our pre-employment panel)
- Have reliable transportation
