Soliant Education is seeking a skilled and dedicated School Psychologist for an onsite position in the Dracut, MA area.
Responsibilities:- Conduct psycho-educational evaluations to assess students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Provide individual and group counseling services to support students' social-emotional development.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create and implement effective intervention plans for students.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) and behavior intervention plans.
- Provide crisis intervention and emotional support for students experiencing mental health challenges.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and recommend additional support services.
- Offer consultation and training to school staff on psychological best practices and strategies for supporting student success.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations concerning special education and student assessments.
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Valid licensure as a School Psychologist from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and assessment skills.
- Ability to develop individualized plans that support students' academic and emotional growth.
- Passion for working with students and making a difference in their educational experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Competitive salary: $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience.
