Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Disease Research and Intervention Specialist to join our team at King County. As a key member of our Public Health department, you will play a critical role in conducting disease research, providing intervention services, and promoting public health initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research on disease trends and patterns in King County
  • Provide intervention services to individuals and communities affected by disease
  • Develop and implement public health initiatives to promote disease prevention and education
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, community organizations, and other stakeholders to advance public health goals
  • Conduct outreach and education efforts to promote disease prevention and awareness
Requirements
  • Master's degree in public health, epidemiology, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in disease research, intervention, or public health
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
  • Experience working with diverse populations and communities
  • Knowledge of public health policies and regulations
