Nursing Excellence Program Manager

Overview: UPMC, a leading healthcare provider in Western Pennsylvania, seeks an experienced nurse leader to join our team as an Nursing Excellence Program Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategies to enhance patient satisfaction and experience across our network of hospitals.
About the Role: As a Nursing Excellence Program Manager, you will oversee the execution of initiatives aimed at improving patient care, safety, and satisfaction. This includes collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to identify areas for improvement and developing targeted interventions to address these gaps. You will also provide coaching and guidance to nursing staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge necessary to deliver exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Oversight of patient satisfaction programs and initiatives
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to identify areas for improvement
- Development and implementation of targeted interventions to improve patient care and satisfaction
- Coaching and guidance of nursing staff to ensure delivery of exceptional patient care
- Analyzing data to inform program development and evaluation
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need a Master's degree in Nursing or a related field and at least 4 years of progressive nursing leadership experience. You should possess excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, as well as the ability to analyze data and inform program development and evaluation. A PHD or DNP is preferred.
Benefits: As a member of the UPMC team, you will enjoy a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience.
