Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in regular production meetings and relay pertinent information to assembly staff.
  • Facilitate training for team members as necessary.
  • Ensure consistent attendance as a critical job function.
  • Implement 5S methodologies and visual controls.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.
  • Utilize hand and power tools for assembly tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership capabilities.
  • Experience in conducting on-the-job training.
  • Strong manual dexterity and proficiency with hand tools.
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications (MS Office Suite).
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, portable power tools, and bench tools.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Excellent communication skills for interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of GD&T is preferred.
  • Expertise in advanced assembly, general inspection, and troubleshooting of electro-mechanical systems.
  • Understanding of cable routing, harness configuration, soldering, wiring, and crimping standards.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a strong focus on quality.

Educational Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Completion of technician coursework and/or an AA technical degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a cleanroom environment, including previous leadership roles.
  • Experience with helium leak testing, module and sub-assembly testing, and inspection is advantageous.

Physical and Environmental Considerations:

  • Ability to perform physical tasks including stooping, kneeling, reaching, walking, pushing, pulling, and grasping.
  • Capability to lift up to 25 lbs. independently and more with assistance.
  • Ability to maintain visual acuity for task performance.
  • Willingness to wear personal protective equipment as necessary.
  • Exposure to various environmental factors, including noise and potential hazards.

Travel Requirements:

  • Occasional travel may be required for training and meetings.
