As we transition into low carbon energy markets, TETRA is leveraging its expertise in chemistry and its extensive infrastructure. Our initiatives include the development of TETRA PureFlow, a high-purity zinc bromide brine fluid for energy storage, and innovative carbon capture technologies in collaboration with CarbonFree to produce carbon-negative chemicals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate tanker trucks across diverse terrains.
- Be available for on-call duties to respond to urgent situations.
- Flexibility to work day or night shifts as required.
- Accurately maintain work documentation in compliance with TETRA's standards.
- Possess a basic understanding of maintenance practices.
- Engage in various training programs related to equipment operation and regulatory compliance.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
- Comply with TETRA's policies and operational guidelines.
- EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED.
- EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years of relevant experience, including 2+ years of verified commercial driving and hazmat experience, as well as 2+ years in an oilfield setting.
- LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: Class A CDL, valid DOT medical card, hazmat endorsement, and tanker endorsement.
- TRAVEL: Up to 20% based on job site requirements.
- OTHER: Willingness to work up to 70 hours per week; knowledge of placarding and hazardous materials regulations.

While executing job duties, employees are regularly required to stand, see, talk, and hear. Frequent walking and manual handling of equipment are necessary, along with occasional reaching, climbing, and balancing.
Employees must be able to lift and/or move up to 25-50 pounds regularly and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Employees may be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions, including rain, humidity, snow, and heat, during both day and night shifts. The noise level in this environment can range from moderate to loud for extended periods.
Drivers may spend up to 11 hours daily operating vehicles and can be away from home for extended periods, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Exposure to varying environmental conditions, including chemicals, gases, and other elements, may occur.
