Flight Surgeon Physician

Decypher is seeking a highly skilled Physician - Flight Surgeon to join our team. As a key member of our Flight Medicine Clinic, you will be responsible for providing medical care to pilots and active duty personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine patients and formulate differential diagnostic plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing, and implement treatment plans
- Determine the need for consultation and assist in medical care and treatment provided by other specialists
- Approve or disapprove subspecialty referrals, and direct case management activities
- Provide primary and secondary preventive maintenance care
Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree
- Completed clinical internship and residency
- Fellowship training preferred
- Certifications in Basic Life Support and Approved Continuing Medical/Health Education
- Minimum 35 hours of direct patient care in the past year
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a privileged flight surgeon at a US Military installation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Board certification in Aerospace Medicine
- Current U.S. Medical License and NPI Certification/Registration
