Diagnostic Imaging Specialist PRN Weekends

**Job Summary:**

USPI is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures utilizing imaging equipment while providing quality care to patients of all ages.

**Responsibilities:**

* Perform diagnostic procedures utilizing imaging equipment
* Provide quality care to patients of all ages
* Requires self-motivation to increase the level of understanding and knowledge of the field, disease, and new procedures as they evolve

**Requirements:**

* High School Diploma/GED
* Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Sciences or Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
* Specific Training in Computerized Tomography-GE VCT required
* Two to five years of experience specific to CT
* Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with advanced certification in CT
* Licensed by the Texas Department of Health as a Medical Radiologic Technologist - (MRT)
* CPR certified

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology
* 0-1 years of experience with competency in components of computed tomography
* Possession of current registry in Radiology and CT
* Possession of current state registration (as applicable to the state in which the position resides)
* AHA BLS required upon hire
* Skilled in starting IV's and injection of contrast
