Job Summary

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Elmhurst, New York.

Job Description
  • As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners, assisting in the diagnosis of disease and injury, and ensuring the safety of patients, staff, and visitors.
  • You will position patients and coils on a table that slides inside the MRI scanner, inject contrast media as required, and set appropriate technical parameters.
  • Our ideal candidate will be familiar with the differences between normal and abnormal images, recognize and respond to life-threatening situations, and assure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • You will deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner, work effectively to maintain a safe work environment, and promote national patient safety initiatives.
Requirements
  • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
  • Valid state radiology registration as required by state law
  • Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting
  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology
