Job Description

We're seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary engineering team. In this role, you will own the design of PCBAs for our proprietary industrial automation equipment in accordance with industry standards, best practices, and requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design robust electrical systems and ensure efficient manufacturing and high production quality of production products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own challenging electrical design projects in industrial automation and robotics
  • Own the PCBA design process from gathering requirements through design, prototyping, and validation
  • Document design concepts, trade studies, test procedures, and applicable assembly instructions
  • Work with a cross-functional team to design robust electrical systems
  • Design for compliance with UL, ISO, and IEC standards
  • Test new designs on the bench and in-system to ensure function and performance
Requirements
  • BS or MS in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • Strong electrical engineering fundamentals
  • 5+ years of professional work experience
  • Expert in analog and digital circuit design, high-speed design, and board-level components selection
  • Experience with industrial communications protocols (CAN, Ethernet, RS485, SPI, etc.)
  • Familiarity with automation and control equipment (motor control, PLCs, sensors, etc.)

The salary range for this position is $140,000-$155,000 plus stock and benefits. Pay within the range is based on candidate experience, job-specific skills, education, and work location.
