The Amazon operations team is seeking a skilled Operations Coordinator to support the expanding team in delivering strong operations results within our fulfillment centers.

Operations Coordinators will be responsible for communicating instructions to other associates, motivating them, and keeping their work areas safe. They will also assist in daily management of department duties, including allocating labor, leading meetings, and assigning job duties. Additionally, they will drive and execute standard work in the areas of Safety, Quality, and Productivity to meet daily operational goals. We work to regulate our sites as much as possible, but even with climate controls the noise and temperature levels can vary day to day.

Basic Qualifications

Are 18 years of age or older

High school or equivalent

1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience

Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach

Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required

Preferred Qualifications

A completed Associate's or Bachelor's Degree

1+ year of leadership experience directly managing others

1+ year working in a like environment (manufacturing/distribution/warehousing/large retail)

Experience with performance metrics and lean process improvement

Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to coach, train, and assist team members
