GPAC, a leading search firm specializing in placing quality professionals, is seeking an experienced Traveling Construction Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for providing on-site leadership and supervision for ground-up commercial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site leadership and supervision for ground-up commercial construction projects.
  • Ensure projects are executed according to plans, specifications, and timelines.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and construction crews at various project sites.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain high-quality standards and identify any potential issues or risks.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure seamless project progress.
  • Oversee the implementation of safety protocols and ensure compliance with local regulations at all project sites.
  • Monitor project budgets and make recommendations for cost-effective solutions.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide project updates and address any concerns or queries.
  • Resolve construction-related problems or conflicts in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Lead Superintendent in ground-up commercial construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction techniques, codes, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage and supervise construction teams.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the country, as required.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate construction vehicles and equipment safely.
