Role Overview
As a Planning Engineer Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing and coordinating the plans and schedules for various programs. Your duties will include monitoring costs, operational budgets, and manpower requirements. You will also support negotiations with clients and analyze project impacts across multiple areas, including Engineering and Facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate project plans and schedules.
- Monitor and review operational budgets and manpower needs.
- Engage in negotiations with stakeholders.
- Assess project impacts and propose cost-effective solutions.
- Identify and recommend corrective actions for schedule and resource management.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's Degree is required, along with no prior relevant exempt experience. Equivalent qualifications may include:
- Graduation from NNS Apprentice School
- Graduation from Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS)
- Associate's Degree with 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience
- Military experience at Paygrade E-5 or above
- High School/GED with 4 years of combined relevant experience
- High School/GED with 8 years of combined relevant non-exempt experience
