Job Summary

Abacus Technology Corporation is seeking a highly experienced Site Operations Manager to lead and manage a team of IT and telecommunications professionals providing enterprise-level support at a government facility. This is a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Leadership
    • Provide technical guidance and oversight for directing and monitoring information and telecommunication systems operations.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve IT infrastructure and telecommunications services.
  • Team Management
    • Oversee a team of experienced professionals in the management and support for enterprise-level infrastructure.
    • Recruit, train, and develop team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Project Management
    • Work with government customers to identify needs or opportunities for improvement, plan and implement large-scale projects with minimal disruption to daily operations.
    • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Provide quality assurance review and evaluation of new and existing tools and technologies.
    • Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure high-quality IT and telecommunications services.
  • Compliance and Security
    • Ensure compliance with government regulations and industry standards for IT and telecommunications services.
    • Develop and implement security protocols to protect sensitive information and systems.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Provide clear and concise direction to staff regarding project execution.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with government customers, stakeholders, and team members.

Requirements

15+ years of experience managing large-scale IT and telecommunications contracts in a government environment. Bachelor's degree in a related field desired. Must be Security+ and PMP certified. Extensive experience supporting voice and data networks. Experience with ISP/OSP, hardware interfacing, and data communications. Experience in implementing ITIL, ITSM; compliance with Army IT Metrics program; and C4/IM/AITP service delivery standards. Knowledge and experience implementing quality assurance/control and safety programs and processes within the telecom industry. Experience leading a technical team in an enterprise-level environment and comfortable providing direction and guidance to others. Able to demonstrate strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to work effectively across the program and to accurately represent technical management perspectives to program management and government representatives. Experience with DoD systems and military protocols preferred. Must be a US citizen with an active Secret clearance.
