Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at IDEX. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review financial records for accuracy and compliance with SOX regulations
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Responsible for the preparation and posting of journal entries
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial data using OneStream
  • Identify and recommend process improvement opportunities
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and reports
  • Assist with quarterly and year-end supplemental schedules as required
  • Analyze and report actual variances compared to forecast and AOP
  • Assist with check runs and other day-to-day tasks as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • 2-4 years' experience in general accounting, with 5-7 years' experience preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Sage100, and OneStream, with JDE experience a plus
  • Strong Excel skills and solid understanding of Sarbanes Oxley
  • Ability to work independently and with a team, providing leadership to the team
  • Exposure to cost accounting and effective communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to multitask with strong attention to detail
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
