We're Seeking a Passionate Lead Culinary Specialist

Are you a culinary expert with a passion for Mexican cuisine? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy leading a team? If so, we encourage you to apply We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Lead Culinary Specialist to join our kitchen team.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient service.
  • Mentor, train, and supervise cooks in all aspects of food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation standards.
  • Develop and implement seasonal menus and specials, incorporating fresh ingredients and innovative flavors.
  • Collaborate with owners and management to maintain consistent menu quality and cost control.
  • Source and manage kitchen supplies, ensuring optimal inventory levels and vendor relationships.
  • Enforce strict sanitation practices and adhere to all health and safety regulations.
  • Recruit, hire, and onboard new kitchen staff members.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the kitchen team.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Lead Cook or Chef in a high-volume restaurant setting.
  • Extensive knowledge of Mexican cuisine and cooking techniques.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • ServSafe Food Safety Manager's Certification preferred.
