Job Overview
The Nutanix Finance team is seeking a skilled Financial Operations Analyst to join our dynamic group. This role is essential in supporting the financial planning and analysis processes that drive our business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage annual and multi-year budgeting processes.
- Create financial forecasts and planning scenarios to guide strategic initiatives.
- Design and implement financial and operational metrics, dashboards, and capital expenditure plans.
- Act as a reliable financial consultant to various departments, providing crucial financial data and trend analysis.
- Monitor budget performance through regular reporting and analysis.
- Respond to ad hoc financial inquiries and prepare analytical reports as needed.
- Communicate financial trends and performance insights to leadership, recommending actions to align with financial objectives.
- Collaborate with teams to facilitate purchase requests and ensure accurate cost allocations.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
- 1-2 years of experience in budgeting and forecasting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis and planning.
- Familiarity with government contracting environments and budgeting systems.
