U.S. Farathane, a leading plastics manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced Shift Operations Manager to oversee daily shift operations and lead a team of manufacturing and non-manufacturing personnel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management and be able to facilitate training, planning, and performance appraisals.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure all internal safety procedures and company policies are adhered to, including OSHA requirements and quality standards.
- Investigate and resolve issues involving hourly employees, while maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
- Monitor production equipment for maximum performance and oversee personnel for performance and adherence to procedure.
- Enforce production, quality, material handling, and housekeeping standards, and ensure timely application of process improvements.
- Record and enter labor, scrap, and finished parts to maintain inventory.
- Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous automotive operations management experience preferred.
