Job Summary

Aveanna Healthcare LLC is seeking a compassionate and skilled LPN to provide private duty nursing care to medically fragile children in their homes. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will work closely with our patients and their families to provide high-quality, individualized care that meets their unique needs.

Responsibilities
  • Implement physician-prescribed plans of care for patients
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
  • Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered by physicians
  • Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner
  • Provide health education and training to patients and their families
  • Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required, and obtain co-signature of Case Manager on all verbal orders
  • Follow up with physicians, patients, families, staff, and Case Manager on patient problems, concerns, and changes in patient condition
Requirements
  • Active, unencumbered LPN license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
  • Reliable transportation
