Manufacturing Inc is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Data Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records, handling general ledger tasks, preparing journal entries, and assisting with month-end processes.

**Job Summary:**

We are looking for an individual with expertise in QuickBooks and a strong background in accounting to manage our financial data accurately and efficiently. If you have experience in maintaining general ledgers, preparing journal entries, and overseeing month-end closing processes, this could be an excellent opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update the general ledger with accurate financial transactions.
  • Prepare and post journal entries to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
  • Oversee month-end closing processes, including reconciling accounts and generating reports.
  • Utilize QuickBooks to manage financial data and ensure proper recording of transactions.
  • Prepare financial statements and reports for management review.
  • Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct regular audits of financial records to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support the preparation of tax documents and liaise with external auditors as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of invoices, receipts, and financial documents.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree or higher in accounting or finance is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
  • Expertise in QuickBooks is required.
  • Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, journal entries, and month-end processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial data.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Good communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external auditors.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential information responsibly.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Estimated Salary: $25 - $28 per hour
