Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at MEDIKO INC.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical care to our patients in a correctional setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our center's physician to deliver exceptional patient care
  • Schedule medical appointments and provide emergency medical assistance as needed
  • Conduct medical history interviews and prepare comprehensive medical reports
  • Administer medication and treatment as prescribed by our physician
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the medical team

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program and licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse
  • High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 18 years of age
  • Active, unencumbered state license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Minimum of one year of nursing experience, preferably in a correctional setting
  • Active CPR/BLS certification and adherence to American Heart Association/American Red Cross guidelines
